Tip: Repairing A Tear in Faux Leather

Huarache Heel from Urban Outfitters

I recently bought these heeled sandals and not much later, after a night out, I noticed a scuff in the material. As I've only worn these shoes a couple of times, it bothered me, and I wanted a quick fix. I searched online and found a quick solution.

White scuff was not hard to miss!

This E-Z Flow Leather Marker by Mohawk was about 10 bucks on Amazon. It claims to repair any tears in faux leather by "coloring in" any damages. I decided to give it a try and got it in Sonoma Brown to match the material.

It's pretty much like any other marker that you would use, except this one was filled with paint. After applying pressure to the tool, paint would ooze out. I applied that paint evenly onto the sole of my shoe.

After a couple of strokes, I was done! Although the scuff is still there, it is a lot less noticeable.  From far away, no one would be able to tell.

Travel: Thailand, The White Dress

I spent 18 days in Southeast Asia, and out of all the places that I visited, Maya Bay was by far my favorite spot.

Pictures do not do it any justice. Fun fact: Leonardo DiCaprio filmed The Beach here.

White dress (100% cotton) from some boutique in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This marks my first post! Follow me for some cool stuff coming up.
